Key Stage 2 – British Curriculum at Smart International School

At Smart International School, Key Stage 2 (KS2) (Years 3–6) is a dynamic and inspiring stage that empowers students to grow into confident, independent, and motivated learners. Building on the strong foundations of KS1, our KS2 programme follows the British National Curriculum, providing a rich, balanced, and challenging education that prepares children for the transition to secondary school.

Students in KS2 develop greater depth in English, Mathematics, and Science, while also exploring E.S.S, ICT, Art, Music, and Physical Education. Our curriculum is designed not only to strengthen academic skills but also to encourage creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.

At this stage, children are encouraged to take greater ownership of their learning, building resilience, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills. We focus on nurturing curiosity and a love of discovery, while also promoting essential values such as respect, responsibility, and perseverance.

Through engaging lessons, hands-on projects, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, KS2 students at Smart International School develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed to succeed in the next phase of their education and beyond.
